In the last article, I have showed you about Pangandaran Beach and then I promised to share about other attractions around Pangandaran Beach. Now, I want to share about them.
There are so many interesting objects around Pangandaran beach. Most of them are beaches that are still rarely visited by tourists. If you like the silence of nature then you can explore around Pangandaran Beach and looking for unspoilt beaches. So also for those of you who love photography. Pangandaran Beach and the surrounding area provides plenty of stunning scenery.
Here are some other attractions around Pangandaran Beach:

- Batu Karas Beach
Batu Karas Beach . Located in the Village Batukaras, District Cijulang with a distance of ± 34 km from Pangandaran Beach. Featuring exquisite natural charm. Hill with a forest green, gently sloping beaches with a friendly wave, blue sea and cool breeze. Batu Karas beach can be used for swimming and there are several spots for surfing.

- Batu Hiu Beach
Batu Hiu Beach. A beach with a fairly steep cliffs which has a view towards Indonesian Ocean. Located in the Village Ciliang, District Parigi, ± 14 km from Pangandaran Beach. Batu Hiu Beach can not be used for swimming because large waves that directly hit the cliff. However, Batu Hiu Beach presents a very beautiful natural scenery. About 200 m from the beach there are rocks that emerge from the sea that resembles a shark’s fin so that the beach is known as the Beach of Batu Hiu (Shark Stone).
- Karang Nini Beach
Karang Nini Beach. Located in the Village Emplak, District Kalipucang, about 10 miles east of Pangandaran Beach. Karang Nini Beach is nature tourism that is a combination of green jungle and blue sea with strong waves. From the Karang Nini Beach, we can see the Segara Anakan Sea with the island of Nusa Kambangan in the distance. There is a fairly complete and good facilities, if we decide to spend the night there.

- Madasari Beach
Madasari Beach. Located in the village Masawah Cimerak District, ± 20 km south of Green Canyon, or ± 40 km west of Pangandaran Beach. Madasari beach is a beautiful and original beach that has not been widely known to tourists. Presenting the plain green and blue sea and gently sloping beaches are decorated with unique rock.

- Karapyak Beach
Karapyak Beach. Located in the Village Bagolo, Kec. Kalipucang, about 20 km from Pangandaran beach. Karapyak beach is unspoiled and virgin. It has white sand beaches stretch along the ± 5 km with scattered rocks. Interestingly, when the sea receded, we can see marine life that is trapped in small pools among the rocks. Access to Karapyak beach is good, but unfortunately, the public transport to this area is not yet exist, so Karapyak beach is less popular.

- Pananjung Nature Reserve
Pananjung Nature Reserve. Pananjung Nature Reserve is a peninsula which is connected by an isthmus. And the isthmus’ beaches are known as West Pangandaran Beach and East Pangandaran Beach. Starting in 1922, when Y. Eycken become Resident of Priangan, turning the Pananjung area into Hunting Park. Now, Pananjung Nature Reserve has a total area ± 1000 ha with 470 ha of which is a Marine Nature Reserve. Pananjung Nature Reserve has a diverse flora of tropical rain forests and coastal forests around its waters. Similarly, the fauna as diverse as, the family of primates, birds, bison, deer, snakes and more. There are several natural caves and Japanese caves/bunkers, relics of World War II. There is also a waterfall in southern Pananjung, Cikamal pastures where deer and buffalo for food and White Sand Beach. Pananjung Nature Reserve there is also a natural tourist area where we can do cross country, cycling, swimming, diving and snorkeling.

- Cukang Taneuh / Green Canyon
Cukang Taneuh / Green Canyon. Located in the Village Kertayasa, Cijulang District, about 31 miles east of Pangandaran Beach. Name Cukang Taneuh (soil bridge) comes from the soil bridge crossing over the valley of Green Canyon. While Green Canyon is the name given by the foreign tourists who are fascinated by the shades of clear green river water. Green Canyon is a watershed Cijulang that pass through the cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites and flanked by two hills with lush trees. Achieving Green Canyon starts from Ciseureuh Pier by using boats. The distance is about 3km and takes about 30-45 minutes. Activities that can be done is to swim in turquoise crystal clear river water and enjoy the very fascinating natural beauty. Dry season (May – Spetember) is a good time to visit Green Canyon.

- Citumang River
Citumang River. Located in the Village Bojong, District of Parigi, ± 15 km from Pangandaran beach to the west. Citumang River flows splitthe teak forests with clear blue waters. Banks of the river consists of rocks with a natural relief and then the river flows into Sanghyang Tikoro Cave and out again on the downstream side. About 500 m upstream from Sanghyang Tikoro, we will find a place with cool clear water and very comfortable for swimming. Citumang River offers comfort in the silence of nature.
