G Land SurfingPlengkung beach or known by surfers as the G-Land is a paradise for surfers from around the world. G derived from the word Grajagan, the name of a bay that has the big waves in Banyuwangi, East Java and located in deep inside the lowland tropical rain forest of the Alas Purwo National Park.

G-Land is well-known as one of the most incredible surf spot in the world. It’s a very special surfing spot for all surfers side of scenery and beauty of primitive jungle. On the best month to surf at G Land, May to Ocotber, the waves can reach 5 meters. The thing that most favored by surfers, from G-Land.

G-LandG-Land has often hosted the international surfing events such as Internasional Quiksilver Pro Surfing Championship in 1995-1998 and some sources mentioned that the G-Land is the third best surfing destinations in the world. There is two mile long left hand reef in G-Land  that is divided into four sections : Kongs, Money Trees, Launch Pads, Speedies or 20/20?s. Each G-Land section  have their own characteristic. From May to October is the perfect time to surf . Many of the strong waves of the Indian Ocean roll toward the G-Land. And this all makes G-Land as a place that is consistent for surfing.

G-Land is located on the south coast of Banyuwangi, the eastern end of East Java. There are two ways to get there:
By land: From Banyuwangi-Kalipahit (59 km) by Bus, Kalipahit-Pasaranyar (3 km) by rent a car, Pasaranyar-Pancur (15 Km), Pancur-G-Land (9 km) by car.
G-LandBy Land and Sea: Banyuwangi-Benculuk (35 km) by Bus, Benculuk-Grajagan (18 Km) and Grajagan-G-Land with Speed Boat.

Or you can rent a boat from Benoa, Bali, direct to the G-Land, Banyuwangi.

Along the way , you will be treated to many beautiful landscapes.
And when your arrive at the G-Land, the Cottage and Jungle Camp located near the beach is ready to serve your needs during the stay.
