Lake area is about 1,100 hectares, a depth of between 160-230 meters. In the middle of the lake, there is a new volcano that is still active and growing.

Mount Rinjani is Indonesia’s third highest mountain (3720 m asl). There storing various mysteries, one of which is about the existence of Goddess Enjeni. According to the beliefs of local communities, the Goddess Enjeni  was Queen genie, the ruler of Mount Rinjani. They believe that the Goddess Enjeni was born from the marriage of Sasak people with a genie, flawless and still descendants of King Selaparang. To honor the Goddess Enjeni, people of Mount Rinjani National Park, often hold religious ceremonies on Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak Lake, by releasing small fish made of thin gold to Lake Segara Anak.

Mataram – Masbagik – Kutaradja – Tetebatu (60 miles) about 1.5 hours, walking into Otakkokoq for 30 minutes.
